Help Me Out And Win My Heart - Christmas Giveaway

As my "ornament cloth" is getting closer and closer to the moment when it will turn into a butterfly seven Christmas tree ornaments, I found myself wondering which one to finish first... A bell and a heart have already been finished before starting the "cloth", so one of the other three would be more fun to continue with: the snowflake, the stocking or poor little no.4, for which I couldn't come up with a name...

So here's what I thought: why not ask YOU to help me decide and make this a fun Christmas giveaway? Are you in? Great! Let's play!

Giveaway

Coming back after a long, way too long summer break, I would like to celebrate with another giveaway. Will you join me for a little game?

A couple of weeks ago my husband took me along on one of his business trips, to spend a weekend in Prague, just us two. I was only too happy to go and we had a great time discovering the wonderful city of Prague!
Now, you may be wondering what Prague has to do with the giveaway. Well, here's one of the photos my husband took while walking the streets of Prague:

Blog Anniversary Giveaway

What better moment to write my 200th post, than to announce the 2nd Anniversary of my blog? 

Yes, it's been two years... 

Two years of stitching, of being inspired by so many talented blogging friends, an ongoing adventure of discovering and learning new ways of using my needles and threads...

I would like to thank you all for bearing with me along these years, for all your support, encouragement and friendship!

Since it is a moment of two's, and as creating pendants has become my favorite activity lately, I thought I'd better keep in style and celebrate by giving away two pendants for two lucky winners:

1. This lovely pendant with red roses in a silver finish setting, with matching organza ribbon necklace:

2. A pendant made especially for the winner, according to her preferences, with matching necklace.

Is it Christmas already?!

If I look at my calendar, it is crystal clear that Christmas is more than two weeks away. But the boxful of presents that arrived from Lee Albrecht states otherwise:

A gorgeous box embroidered by Lee herself, two more oh, so beautiful handmade boxes, handmade soap (with a heavenly scent, by the way), cute muffin pincushion and pins, Lee's gorgeous kits (I can see a small change in my stitching plans soon, as the lavender kit keeps whispering to me), her Matrioshka  thread keep, Japanese embroidery book, yummy sweets (they didn't make it to the photo shoot, sorry)... oh, my... breathtaking... and most precious all, kindness and friendship...

Meglepetés / Surprise

Először a meglepetéstől, majd az örömtől nem jutottam szóhoz tegnap, amikor megérkezett hozzám Marcsi csomagja... Többször megcsodáltam csinos kis ollóőrét és most már az én ollócskám is büszkélkedhet egy hasonlóval :) Ráadásul az őröcske nem egyedül, hanem több kincs társaságában érkezett!
Nagyon szépen köszönöm ezt a kedves meglepetést, Drága Marcsi!!!

I was speechless, first with the surprise, then with joy, yesterday when I received Marcsi's presents... I expressed for a couple of times my admiration for her scissors fob and now my scissors are only too proud to be guarded by such a cutie :) And it didn't come alone, but accompanied by little treasures!

Ajándékok / Presents

Mesés ajéndékok bújtak elő a Lee Albrecht-től érkezett csomagból... Két hímzőkészlet, közülük az egyik szívem csücske, a korall színű rózsás párna , nagyon finom szappanok, hardanger vásznak, Sárának csini papucska, kézzel készített kulcstartó és karácsonyi üdvözlet.
Wonderful presents arrived today from Lee Albrecht... Two embroidery kits, one of them being the gorgeous cushion with coral roses , yummy soaps, hardanger fabrics, cute flip-flops for Sára, handmade key chane and Christmas card.

És ráadásként, igen, jól látjátok, most végre megtanulok portugálul is, Lee jóvoltából :)
And as you can see, I will finally learn to speak Portuguese too, thanks to Lee :)

Tegnap / Yesterday

Végre megérkezett Braziliába Leehez a Karácsonyi üdvözletem pár apróság kíséretében. Nagy megnyugvás volt, hogy szerencsésen odaért - a postán ígért két hét helyett 25 nap kellett a kis csomagnak, hogy megtegye a 10000km-t... De a legjobban annak örülök, hogy Leenek tetszettek az ajándékok. Én elfelejtettem postázás előtt fotózni őket, ezért a képet Leetől csentem :)

My Christmas card, accompanied by a couple of small surprises, finally arrived to Lee in Brasil. Instead of the two weeks promissed by the postal clerk, it took the littel parcel 25 days to travel 10000km's... I am relieved that it got there, and happy that Lee liked her gifts. I forgot to take a picture before sending them, so I'm posting the picture Lee took :)
