"How about a flower?" I asked.
"A tulip, a tulip!!!"and she jumped up and down around me as I cut her some cotton fabric and drew a tulip on it for her. "I want a frame, too, like yours! And I want the tulip to be purple." So we put her fabric into a hoop, picked just the right colors of cotton perle no.8 and then she sat on my lap to learn how to backstitch...
And then she moved to her own chair to work by herself and we sat and stitched together in silence, until...
"Mom, stop taking pictures, you have lots of stitching to do!"
:))))))))))))))))))))))
And she was right, too. My current work in progress: a blue set of three, phone pouch, eyeglass case and change purse.
